If a user already knows another person's exact, complete email address, they may look up that address to initiate a connection request.
In such a case, only the account holder's name and company name will be surfaced — no other personal information is disclosed.
This feature is intended solely to help people connect with others they already know, not to enable discovery of strangers.
We believe this design meaningfully limits exposure while still allowing our connection features to work effectively.
