With investment from Raiders star, Issaquah startup prepares to launch
By Rick Morgan on September 17, 2026

Nukleus is designed to address fragmentation in the business of sports by creating a shared workspace where athletes, agents, lawyers, financial advisors, marketing teams and other members of an athlete’s professional circle can work from the same information. The broader goal is to replace the disconnected mix of spreadsheets, emails, documents and separate systems that traditionally surround an athlete's career. GeekWire
The company was founded by CEO Hector Rivas, whose background includes serving as the first CEO of ThriftBooks and later co-founding Disruptive Sports Agency. His experience inside athlete representation helped shape the idea for Nukleus after seeing how frequently different members of an athlete's team were operating with separate information. GeekWire
Jeanty's involvement goes beyond a traditional endorsement. He invested in the company and became the face of the platform after discussions with Rivas about the problems athletes encounter when managing the growing team of professionals around their careers. GeekWire
The article positions the investment as an important step for Nukleus as the company approaches launch, with Jeanty's involvement providing both athlete perspective and visibility for the platform. The Business Journal's own preview summarizes Nukleus as an Issaquah startup that “helps athletes and their business managers stay organized.” Biz Journals
